Research interests
I graduated in Experimental Psychology (110 cum laude / 110) at the university of Padua in December 2003, whit the thesis "working memory in the domestic chick (Gallus gallus): a research through delayed response task", under the supervision of Prof. Lucia Regolin. In april 2008 I finished my 3 year PhD program in Perception and Psychophisics (Supervisor: Prof. Lucia Regolin), working on numerical competence in domestic chicks. I am mainly interested in numerical cognition in animals. I am also working on other topics in comparative cognition, in particular on short term memory, objects identification and visual perception.
